September 2014
Photo's to love from September:
We got a membership to the local YMCA so that the big kids could start swimming lessons. I take Oliver to the pool often because its a big sensory experience, and he loves it in there. In the 3 ft pool he will walk until he goes under (it gradually slopes) and do it again and again and again--absolutely no fear for the water. I thought this was so cute of them rinsing off in the shower!
This picture is blurry but too funny. Oliver makes himself right at home in Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Waiting lounge.
Oliver loves to wear hats, his most favorite is the Minion hat sent from his aunt George. We stocked up on these fun knit hats around april, and got them for very cheap.
Lots of silliness happens around here.
We made a family trip to the LDS Columbus Temple with some families from our ward.

While we were in Columbus we visited the COSI science museum. We had a good time but its definitly geared towards kids who are a little older.
Caily and Grayson directing the water fountains at COSI.
Caily climbed up into the Mouse Scientist...
So Oliver wanted to climb up too!
Oliver spent about 2 months very into these sensory balls which light up. He carries them wherever he goes, and usually one in each hand.
I love holding a sleeping Oliver.
Caily all dressed up on her first day of First Grade.
She was very excited about meeting her new teacher and being able to bring her lunch to school and ride the bus all by herself in the morning.
Can't believe this little beauty is a First Grader. Where does all the time go?
Big Hugs for dad, who went into work late, and worked late so that he could see her off to the bus on her first day.
Walking down to the bus stop.
She brought her special necklace with her today.
This is the start of a whole new experience.
We were so excited for her! Can't wait to hear about the things she will learn this year.
Grayson started school a week later, we went out to celebrate his Meet the Teacher with drinks from Sonic.
It was so fun to spoil just him for a bit.
Rod let him sit in the driver seat while they ordered, and Grayson pretty much that it was the most awesome thing in the whole world.
Grayson with his best buddy Jayden checking out school the day before!
Here is on his first day!
Waiting for the bus to come pick him up!
Oliver playing on the swing at Occupational Therapy one morning.
I thought this was a very creative yet precarious solution to checking out the fridge.
Olivers feed team decided to change his night time feeds to day feeds, and so he now gets feeds for one hour at a time, 4 times a day. My mom made this little pack for him to wear because they Hospital Issued feeding backpack was enormous on him. He still hates to wear it, and it usually means lots of tears.
We drove a few hours to Michigan City, Indiana over Labor Day weekend, with some great friends of ours, the Lunts! Here's a picture of the whole group, we had so much fun!
I brought some sleds and we trekked up the sand dunes and went sledding! Everybody thought I was crazy at first but we had a seriously fun time doing this.

The kids got to go Canoeing! The lake was very shallow, only 3 or so feet all the way across, so I let them give it a try themselves and they were so proud. It felt great to say, YES YES YES. have at it!
We visited the local zoo, and Grayson got very excited about this feather.
This is the pathway down to the beach. I think its so lovely.
It was gorgeous to play in the sand and water at Sunset, made it hard to leave. Oliver, and all the children played and played and played.
Beach Ready. Or Faux, Indiana Beach ready.
Family picture on our last day. Not a single person in my family wanted to go home. There was lots of crying on the way home. Wish we could have stayed forever.
