August 2014

I'm afraid the last few months have gotten by me! I don't want to miss sharing these moments, so I will share my favorite pictures from August.
Oliver at Feeding Therapy with his first big breakthrough.  Peanut butter on the face!

Since eating is such a big deal I pretty much take a picture every time it happens.  I thought they were so cute with their little lollipops at the Pediatrician's office.

Grayson and Daddy out to Lunch

Oliver is a huge fan of the movie Frozen, and since it keeps him happy in the van, it was pretty much playing on a constant loop.  Ollie is snuggled into his Olaf blanket, drinking some of his formula from that cup.  He wakes up every morning singing "Le i go" from his crib (Let it Go).

Brothers.

Oliver and Grayson like to crawl in our bed.

Out Playing.  It was a tight fit, but we had a lot of fun.

I don't think we would have been able to get out of the tire swing without Daddy's assistance, of course he kept his distance every couple minutes because watching us made him sick!
Oliver loves these tight tight spaces and we always find him tucked in somewhere interesting.
Rod traveled for work, since he stores all the cool travel photos on his phone, I had to hijack this one.
All of the kids have been very into building things, with Lego's, Kinex, magnets, and anything that they can find.  We have been amazed at some of their inventions.

Ollie and I found this little fountain to play in outside the Dr.'s Office one day.

Not sure what's happening here but it looks fun!
Ollie fell asleep firmly biting this little Rubber ducky.

Taking a drive

GE had a family fun day at King's Island Amusement Park, and we were lucky enough to have the Brian and Amber Gosnell and their seriously sweet kiddos join us for the weekend.
These two cutie boys wanted to ride the cars, over and over and over again. Which worked out because it was pretty much the only ride they were big enough to ride!
The Brothers. Grayson loved some of the big rollercoasters and is anxiously measuring himself and awaiting the next visit, but we couldn't convince Caily to give them a go.

Grayson had his 5th set of Ear tubes placed, as well as his Adenoids removed.  They called him a Frequent Flier, and I informed them that I thought this was a buy 4 get the 5th one free deal, but they could not be persuaded.
Grayson was very brave, and recovered quite easily.  I am grateful that during these situations Rod is able to attend with me, and this is largely due to my Mother, who comes and cares for the other children.
Oliver loves to play outside
Caily played soccer for the first time this year!

We had some cold mornings out on the soccer field.  Oliver was not shy ever, and we had a hard time keeping him from going home with someone else!

We had our annual neighborhood bike parade.  The firetrucks came out and hosed everyone afterwards, so much fun!

Happy Fourth of July

This man loves fireworks!
How do people get family photo's. Seriously!?

Well, it was a good try! Happy Fourth!

Missing Teeth and the Tooth Fairy

Caily lost her first tooth!  She had been wiggling and wiggling that tooth for over a month, and was extremely disheartened that she was the ONLY kindergartner in her class to have not lost ONE SINGLE TOOTH.

But eventually her time came, and it came out when Aunt Heather was visiting, with a good old bite into corn on the cob! Unfortunately, little teeth and little corn are shaped and sized remarkably similar!  Caily's very first baby tooth to come loose, also got swallowed.  Luckily the tooth fairy was understanding. Caily's smile couldn't be brighter!

Some Summer Moments

Went to a Red's Game with my Dad and had a great time!

These two went to a pirate birthday party, and love it!

Some cute friends left me nice notes on my door one morning.

Playing in the sun with friends

Grayson ate lots of Watermelon.

At Hueston Woods Campground.
The closest thing to a beach we have! We went up for an afternoon to play.

Played so hard that day!
My darling girl!

A sweet day with friends
I have early morning Crazy hair, but Oliver woke up so happy this day.
Oliver went and found a blanket so he could snuggle Grayson
They posed themselves. This makes me smile!
Caily and I had such a fun time doing this puzzle together and learning about the Country in prep. for FIRST GRADE.  The puzzle was missing Wyoming, so Caily and I wrote a letter to the company.

First visit to a Splash park
