This has been a beautiful and sad start to the new year. In the past 2 months I have lost both of my grandparents. In early December I got news that my Grandpa had passed away. On thursday, I learned that my grandmother joined him. Although it has been difficult for me to see them go, I am happy that they are once again together. I was very close to both of them, and am grateful they were my grandparents. The picture above was taken 3 years ago. The red book was their life history which I helped them publish into several books.
Here's to their great lives, which live on in mine.
