| Oliver's first time in the swing! |
Oliver just turned 8 months old and we are shocked at how quickly he is growing up, with no signs of slowing down! He has been crawling (FAST!) for the last month or so, and is now standing up on everything and beating things like a drum. He is close to figuring out the stairs. He talks a lot and last week he said Momma several times. He is very smart and learns quickly. He does not like to be spoon fed by us anymore he likes to do it on his own, so we load up the spoon and hand it to him, which is just how he likes it! He is breaking teeth number 7, 8, right now-his gums all swollen and raw and he is up all night long.
He is so smart and determined and purposeful. Everything he does is purposeful, this week he figured out that he can move the highchair (it has wheels). I came downstairs this morning and he looked down at the wheels and floor and began moving back and forth in the highchair causing it to shuffle forward, he then looked down at his progress and continued to rock his way over to me. Hard to believe it--but his look was intent and determined. He watches the big kids intently, and learns so quickly.
Lately I have just been thinking....that the time is going way to quickly. We love this little guy.

So cute! To me, he looks like Caily's little mini-me!
I can't believe he is 8 months already! I so need to meet this little guy! Time for a trip to Utah! :)
