Every weekend since Christmas so far we have had visitors at our house. Last weekend it was Caily's Uncle Matt and Aunt Dena's who came to visit. One thing that these visits have made Clarissa and I acutely aware of is that ever since we had Caily we have become
even more boring. We spent most of the weekend with Matt and Dena just hanging out (when Matt wasn't working). Caily, of course, was the star of the show and with Dena pregnant I think she was just fine to not do anything strenuous. We did take Matt and Dena to the space needle and the Future of FlightMuseum and Boeing tour. Actually, they took the tours, we sat in the lobby because the other thing that Caily has made us acutely aware of is how little money we have. The highlight of the trip was on Saturday morning. We were sitting around talking with Uncle Matt holding Caily. We were, of course, discussing how cute she is when Matt made the rather opinionated comment that his child was going to be bigger, more intelligent, and cuter than Caily. Well, before we had a chance to defend her honor; Caily let Uncle Matt know exactly how she felt about that--- with a copious amount of projectile spit up all over his nice toilet head shirt. (Go Caily!) Will Caily's cousin be bigger? Probably. Cuter and smarter? Not only genetically improbable (through no fault of Dena), but Caily has already shown she will be hard to beat.
We took Caily to Best Buy--and it was only fitting that her first time there was with her Uncle Matt.

Go girl! You got to show these Uncles who's boss!
Quite a feisty young one. She will do alright for herself on the school playground
