We recently had a fun weekend when the Benac's came for a visit! Its hard to believe that in the last several years we have all been the same places. (They have also lived in Seattle, Houston and Ohio) They live about 5 hours away, so they came and stayed for the whole weekend! Mamie ran the Cincinnati Half Marathon and it was Rowan's birthday--
we celebrated in style. He loves Thomas the train so the kids decorated this fun cake Mamie planned. So cute.
It was so entertaining to watch them make these, each with such individual styles.

These two girls just love love love each other. Here they were sitting on the couch snuggling each other watching a show.
We took a big trip up to EnterTRAINment Junctionwow. This place was perfect for the little ones! (Cool for the adults too :) Inside there is over 2 miles of G-scale train tracks, the kind that collectors would love to admire. Also they had an Thomas the Train play area, and Thomas the train outdoor train for the kids to ride on. It was jam packed with little boy awesomeness.
There was a big train where the little ones could shovel pretend coal into the engine.
Everyone had a blast!
