Business trips take Rod away from us from time to time. Sometimes he gets to go to pretty amazing places and other times he is just far away from where we are. This last week he had a conference in Connecticut, and was gone fore 8-9 days. The kids and I missed him. I was really grateful to have my mom willing to step in and help with the children while I attended school. It is pretty stressful to find babysitters, and having her help takes a large weight off my shoulders when I am home alone with the kids.
In a text message Caily sent her daddy requesting him to come home soon she even promised: "We love you and want to see you again. I will even like you at bedtime." LOL. The last sentence cracked me up.
