The Little's + Milly embarked on their first ever
ROADTRIP
to Grandma and Papa's house in Nashville
Driving with little one's means LOTS of extra stops.
Our trip time was nearly doubled by the frequent stops for:
diaper changes
meals,
energy burning
leg stretching
and exploring
BUT....The littles were great!
Of course the DVD player helped a lot.
Mississippi had closed every single road stop, and none of the Mcdonalds on the stretch had a play area. How weird is that!?
We've been taking some time away from home to get well,
and to try to keep the Littles from catching Rod's illness while he recovers.
Both of the children have been learning lots of new things,
Caily is carrying conversations now, and Grayson can now say "mama", "dada", "baba", "night night", "tickle", "more", "thankyou", "gamma" and other words I haven't decoded.
So fun to see them healthy!

Yay for healthy kids and road trips!! We like traveling at night so they sleep. :) What did our parents ever do without DVD players in the car?!
