SUCCESS!
We are loving dance class.
(we as in...both Caily and I...she is loving doing it, and I am loving watching it!)
Today was reason to celebrate for 4 reasons:
1. She happily put on her tutu and leotard
(she calls it her RHINA skirt...as in Ballerina)
2. She walked into the studio BY HERSELF, without screaming/crying/running for Mommy.
3. She put her tap shoes on when it was time, without telling her teachers
"Please don't touch."
4. She danced the entire time, loved it---grinning ear to ear---told her teachers "Thank you."
This is a big deal when your 2.
So proud of her.
...And so glad we gave her the time she needed to be comfortable.
Because she has walked around all day in her dance outfit, saying "Caily is a Rhina, mommy."
